The Signature Pour builds mocktail bars for Houston weddings.
Every signature cocktail on our menu is designed with a real zero-proof twin from the start — including the custom cocktail we build for the couple — and we run fully dry weddings on the mocktail menu alone. Same TABC-certified bartenders, same glassware, same garnish, same craft. Just alcohol optional.
A mocktail menu beside the bar, or a wedding that's dry by design.
"Mocktail bar for a wedding" means one of two very different things, and it's worth knowing which one you're planning before you start pricing it.
The first is a mocktail menu running alongside the full bar. Your guests who drink order the cocktail; your guests who don't order the same drink without the alcohol. Not a substitute, not a concession — the zero-proof version was designed at the same time as the original, by the same person, with the same garnish and the same glass. This is our default on every wedding we book — zero-proof options are included by default in every package, whether you ask for them or not.
The second is a fully dry wedding. No alcohol on site at all, and the entire reception runs on the zero-proof menu. We do these regularly. The bar looks and feels identical to a full-proof setup, which is the whole point: nobody standing across the room can tell the difference, and nobody at the bar has to explain themselves.
You don't have to decide today. The menu is built the same way either direction, and couples move between the two while planning more often than you'd think.
How many mocktails to plan for.
Start from the same arithmetic as any wedding bar: plan about one drink per guest per hour, a little more in the first hour. For 100 guests over a four-hour reception that's roughly 425 drinks total.
Then take the share of the room that isn't drinking. At most events that's fifteen to thirty percent — the designated drivers, the pregnant guests, the guests in recovery, the ones driving kids home, the ones simply not old enough. Applied to that same 100-guest wedding, it lands at roughly 60 to 130 zero-proof drinks across the night. That is not a garnish-and-a-lime afterthought. That's a bar.
Staffing doesn't change: the working rule of thumb is one bartender per 50–75 guests for full cocktail service, so 100 guests needs two either way — which is exactly what our standard packages send. Mocktails take the same shaking, the same ice, and the same line time as everything else, which is precisely why planning for them as a rounding error goes wrong.
You don't have to run these numbers yourself. Under our dry-hire model we build an exact shopping list for your guest count and your menu, zero-proof included. The bar planning guide shows all of the math — bartender counts, bottle counts, and booking timelines.
The maid of honor who can't drink gets a real drink.
- ✦Guests who are pregnant or in recovery. A full craft cocktail served at the same bar, with the same presentation, no special request and no explanation required.
- ✦Designated drivers and guests driving home. Houston weddings mean Houston distances. The drink that gets someone home safely should still be worth ordering.
- ✦Guests too young to drink. Cousins, siblings, and the kids' table get something from the actual menu instead of a soda in a plastic cup.
- ✦A wedding that's dry by choice. Whether for faith, family, venue rules, or preference — we run the whole reception on the zero-proof bar, start to finish. See our zero-proof bar page for the full non-alcoholic menu.
Same packages. Alcohol optional.
Every package below can run fully zero-proof, partially zero-proof, or full-proof with zero-proof twins — you decide the mix when you book, and you can change it while planning. A fully alcohol-free wedding often costs less overall, since there's no alcohol to purchase at all. The full pricing breakdown is here.
